I will be writing a separate blog to explain the JavaScript Runtime Environment. It is essential to understand this concept before diving deep into the world of Node.js. However, for now, let's discuss it briefly.
A runtime environment can be compared to a special place or a container that holds all the necessary components for executing JavaScript code. In the case of Node.js, it provides a dedicated runtime environment for JavaScript code to run outside of a web browser.
Traditionally, JavaScript was mainly used for client-side scripting, executing within the browser to create dynamic and interactive web pages. However, Node.js extends the capabilities of JavaScript by enabling it to be executed on the server side as well.
Node.js accomplishes this by utilizing the V8 JavaScript engine, developed by Google.
